Royalty Free Footage Licence:
The copyright within the footage/clip(s) remains with the originator at all times.
Upon purchase of a "Royalty Free " clip a licence is granted to the purchaser of the video clip or clips. That may be an individual or production company. The licence is not transferable.
The License does not allow for the use of the clips in Broadcast or Theatrical productions, performances, presentation or dissemination to any type of paying audience or in an area where an entrance fee is charged, with the exception of amateur dramatic performances and trade stands or displays within exhibitions or shows.
The license does not permit the use of the clip(s) in any Videos, DVD's or other medium offered for sale to the public.
This licence is not valid if any kind of fee is charged to view the clip(s) or gain access to the clip(s). Instead please contact us for a competitive licence quote, or additional notice of variation (in many cases free) to allow the use of the clip(s).
The licence allows multiple use of the clip(s) within videos or presentations that may be given or shown within a business to business environment, exhibition stand, marketing material (excluding TV advertising), web or internet promotion, conference, business meeting, trade stand, trade show, science fair, demonstration, free access web site, exhibition or museum that does not charge for admission. Again if you are unsure please contact us for a competitive licence quote, or additional notice of variation (in many cases free) to allow the use of the clip(s).
The licence is only valid once payment has been made to Ingenious TV (Alister Chapman). Once a licence fee for the clip has been paid the clip may be used any number of times with no further fee being payable provided the terms of this licence are kept.
Where credits are present then the following credit (or similar) should be given: Stock Footage: Ingenious TV
In simple terms: If you have to pay to be able view the clip(s), then the licence is NOT valid. If the clips can be viewed for free then this licence is normally valid, the main exception being broadcast television.
Any usage of any clip(s) outside of this licence will result in a standard fee of $100.00 per second becoming payable ($1000.00 per second for theatrical releases).
